About the course

CELTA gives you the training you need to start your career as an English language teacher. If you are looking for a career change, or want to live and work in fascinating places around the world then CELTA is for you. Milner was the first College in Perth to run the course now known as CELTA. Administered by the University of Cambridge, it is accepted everywhere as the gold standard. Its credibility with employers puts it way out in front of the cheap, on-line and CERT IV courses which have proliferated over the years. If you want to teach in Australia a degree or recognised tertiary diploma plus the CELTA or its equivalent are mandatory for employment. Also,
