About the course

By tightly integrating the study of economics and statistics, our BSc Mathematical Economics and Statistics programme meets the increasing demand from industry, the professions and public bodies for informed and talented graduates who can apply skill and imagination to real world problems. Economics is important, it means passing on our state-of-the-art knowledge to the next generation as part of our responsibility to the profession and to you. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Birmingham

BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma and Subsidiary Diploma are all considered on a case by case basis providing that A level Mathematics is being offered , International Baccalaureate Diploma: 6,6,6 at Higher Level with a minimum of 32 points overall. TOEFL - 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing , IELTS - 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any band
