Our extended degree in pharmaceutical sciences explores areas such as biochemistry, biology, physiology, pharmacology, and drug design and delivery. A project and laboratory work will give you opportunities to get hands-on experience.
Before studying the same modules offered on our three-year course, you'll complete a foundation year. This will get you up to speed with learning at degree level.
Graduate careers include roles in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, research and development, food industries, quality control and manufacturing. The course is a stepping stone to qualified person status with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. You can also apply for membership of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
