You'll investigate the sensory, physical and chemical properties of foods. Using our specialist facilities you will apply this knowledge to explore food innovation and develop new products. You'll look at consumer trends, new technology and the latest food research.
In year three you'll apply your knowledge to develop a new food product. Working as teams, you'll use the food processing facility to create the finished product. From idea generation through to the final packaged product, you'll get a hands-on experience of what it takes to bring a food or drink product to market.
