About the course

Learn English to prepare you to study a master’s degree at James Cook University Brisbane. Students who complete this course will have a range of academic skills to take them to Masters university study, including: Essay, data reporting, summary, reflection and business letter writing, Speaking competency in presentations and tutorials on a range of academic topics, Ability to comprehend complex academic reading texts such as business case studies, Ability to comprehend complex listening texts (academic lectures) on a range of issues. The course uses an IELTS based model to develop your academic skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Your self-study program allows you to consolidate and practice your grammar and reading skills every week.
