In your BASE language courses, you'll learn valuable written, oral, and academic skills to help you be successful in your full-time studies.
You practise your skills through hands-on activities such as:
giving a technical presentation,
writing a lab report,
interviewing upper-year students, and
working with Canadian students on a cross-cultural communications project.
These activities prepare you to succeed at university and give you the communications skills employers look for.
Depending on the program you applied to, you may also participate in resume-building workshops, practice interviews, or other activities that prepare you for co-op work terms.
You'll also be enrolled in 1 or 2 credit courses depending on your faculty. These courses will be selected for you by your faculty. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
