Gain valuable skills in a range of visual mediums, then dive into your art practice with access to our purpose-built studios and workshops.Develop your art practice in a professional environment. Access specialised facilities including painting and drawing studios, a digital lighting studio, photographic darkrooms, and sculpture and printmaking workshops. You'll also get your own personal studio space from day one of your degree – right through to graduation – where you can hone your skills and collaborate with other artists.
Demonstrate skills and knowledge of the practices, languages, forms, materials, technologies and techniques in the Visual Arts discipline.
Develop, research and evaluate ideas, concepts and processes in visual arts through creative, critical and reflective thinking and practice.
Apply relevant visual arts skills and knowledge to produce and realise artworks, artefacts and forms of creative expression.
Interpret, communicate and present ideas, problems and arguments in visual arts modes suited to a range of audiences.
Work independently and collaboratively in the discipline of Visual Arts in response to project demands.

How to apply
Entry requirements for La Trobe University
To enter our undergraduate programs, at a minimum you’ll need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a certain grade. You may also need to meet subject prerequisites.

TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall score of 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing
