About the course
Accounting and management best practice is a fundamental requisite of today’s business world. Modern day accountants do much more than maintain and communicate company financial data, they are key players in managing business, they are critical to success and business longevity. This programme equips you with a robust understanding of accounting and business management including management accounting, financial management, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, business law, marketing, and the international business environment. You will learn valuable transferable technical skills along the way including numerical analytical methods and get hands on experience of industry standard accounting and software packages. There is the option to take a year’s work placement between your second and third year. Previous employers have included Adidas, Microsoft, British Airways, PwC and Nissan. Entry requirements for Brunel University London Pathway College
GCE A-level BBB.
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in Business or Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.
BTEC Level 3 Diploma DM in Business, Enterprise & Entrepreneurship or Personal & Business Finance with an A-level at grade B (other subjects may be considered on a case by case basis).
BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma D with A-levels grade BC.
International Baccalaureate Diploma 30. GCSE English equivalent SL 5 or HL 4 and Mathematics SL 5 or HL 4.
Obtain a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points in the Access to HE Diploma in Business, Business and Management or Business and Law with 45 credits at Level 3.
A minimum of five GCSEs are required, including GCSE Mathematics grade C or grade 4 and GCSE English Language grade C or grade 4 or GCSE English Literature grade B or grade 5.
