About the course
Sports Nutrition is a 120-credit hour bachelor?s degree program focusing on the application of nutrition principles as they relate to sport and human performance. Students will explore how nutrition impacts performance. Graduates of this program may pursue careers in sports nutrition, dietetics, health programs positions offered by hospitals, industries, wellness centers, public and private clinics, fitness camps, and athletic clubs. The Department of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health offers the following five bachelor of science programs: Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Science, Dietetics, Human Nutrition Nutrition and Health (pre-health), Nutrition and Kinesiology (dual degree), Sports Nutrition and Human Nutrition Nutritional Sciences (pre-med). Our department, also, offers online BS completion programs in Dietetics and Nutrition and Health. Many students prefer our programs to prepare them for entry in Medical, Physical Therapy, Physician?s Assistant, Dental, Nursing, and other health professional schools. Entry requirements for Kansas State University
Transcripts for all previous academic coursework must be submitted. This includes high school (secondary school) transcripts, and any and all university, college, vocational, community college, or technical coursework beyond the secondary level.
Minimum 2.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 scale in high school coursework
