The Special Education K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders Program at Eastern Michigan University offers undergraduate programs that lead to state endorsements. Our graduates find jobs as classroom teachers. The Special Education K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders programs include BS options in Elementary or Secondary Special Education K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders. Along with the liberal arts requirements, these programs lead to endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Certified teachers can teach children on the Autism Spectrum in K-12th grade classrooms. By selecting the Special Education K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders - Elementary Major you will earn a Bachelor of Science that leads to an elementary education teaching certificate with the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) endorsement. Certified elementary teachers with the Michigan Department of Education endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) can teach children on the Autism Spectrum in K-12th grade classrooms. Entry requirements for Eastern Michigan University

High school students: Submit official high school/secondary transcript with English translation (students cannot do their own translations) in an official, school-sealed envelope. We are unable to return documents to the applicant regardless of the admission decision.
