About the course
The UNF Physics Department's goal is to become the best undergraduate physics program in the State of Florida and an undergraduate physics program of national acclaim. The department faculty is committed to excellence in undergraduate instruction and research and has the two-fold objective of teaching physics, astronomy, and earth science to students from all programs of the university while also graduating competent baccalaureate physicists who engage in active and productive funded research on topics of current interest to society at large. Entry requirements for University of North Florida
Admissions decisions at UNF are rendered based on academic merit. The state of Florida has implemented minimum admission standards for freshman applicants to all Florida public state universities. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum 2.5 recalculated GPA on a 4.0 scale and meet minimum test score requirements.
Regardless of when they graduated from high school, students applying as first-time-in-college (FTIC) applicants are required to submit either SAT, ACT and/or CLT test scores. UNF does not require the essay section of the SAT or ACT.
A minimum TOEFL score of 79 internet-based (550 paper-based or 213 computer-based)
A band score of 6.5 on the University of Cambridge IELTS
