About the course

Physicists are scientific generalists that study the nature of the universe. A background in physics can inform the study of other disciplines, and is one of the preferred preparations for many activities that are setting new directions in society. The department offers several courses for non-science majors to provide some of this background. The physics department also coordinates the combined degree in engineering.

　　The Department of Physics offers a B.S. in Physics. The requirements for a major or minor in physics are relatively flexible, and are designed to prepare people for either graduate work in physics or for later specialization in other areas. A pre-med track is recommended to students planning to attend medical school after graduation. Entry requirements for College of William and Mary

Secondary School Report Form including official records of your courses and grades from all secondary schools and universities you have attended. Letter of Recommendation. All enrolling students must submit an official SAT or ACT score report. A minimum score of 100 on the TOEFL iBT and an overall band score of 7 or above on the IELTS Academic Test.
