About the course

The Bachelor of Science in Physics provides students with a broad knowledge of fundamental physics and its applications. Students develop the skills of investigation and experimentation required to analyze data and solve physical science problems using analytical, computational, graphical and mathematical methods. The curriculum provides students with a foundation for entry into a variety of applied physics and physics-related jobs in industry or government labs, and prepares them for teaching at the secondary school level or for post-graduate education in physics and astronomy. Physics is the natural science that deals with the properties and interactions of matter and radiation. As such, physics provides the fundamental basis for all other sciences, and for applied science fields such as engineering and the health sciences. Many physicists engage in research designed to expand the frontiers of physical knowledge, others engage in the application of physics concepts in industry and in private and government laboratories. How to apply

Entry requirements for California State University - Fullerton

Applicants who are graduates of foreign secondary schools must have preparation equivalent to that required of eligible California high school graduates. The university will carefully review the previous record of all such applicants and only those with promise of academic success equivalent to that of eligible California high school graduates will be admitted. Undergraduate applicants must achieve a score of 500 on the paper-based TOEFL exam or 61 on the internet TOEFL. We accept test results from the IELTS exam. The minimum score for undergraduate applicants is 5.5.
