About the course

Horticulture is an exciting segment of agriculture that is growing ever more popular in the global economy. Horticultural Science uses all the tools of modern science to investigate the complex growth and developmental responses of horticultural crops and to develop solutions for problems confronting the horticulture industry. The North Carolina climate is conducive to the production and use of a wide variety of horticultural crops and services.

　　The Technology option is intended for those students who plan a career in the plant-related business, teaching, work at the county extension level, in crop production, or other applied area after they graduate. Opportunity is in full bloom in our Horticultural Science undergraduate program. Consider your needs to then customize your selection. We offer an undergraduate certificate in horticultural science and an associate degree: both take two years to complete. The Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture is a four-year degree, and students can enhance an existing major by earning a horticultural science minor. How to apply

Entry requirements for North Carolina State University - Raleigh

IELTS Academic-6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score). TOEFL IBT-85 or higher (minimum of 18 in each sub score). TOEFL Paper Based-563 or higher.
