About the course
The Global Public Health/Food Studies combined undergraduate major provides interdisciplinary training that examines the historical, cultural, political, economic, and geographic aspects of food production, consumption, and post-consumption, with an emphasis on improving health outcomes among diverse populations.As a student, you will study a wide variety of topics such as food science and technology, food and culture, epidemiology, marketing, nutrition, and health policy ? combined with a foundational core of liberal arts courses and electives. You will work ly with an adviser to choose electives that complement your individual interests and desired career path.Undergraduates pursuing this degree also have the opportunity to expand upon class work by completing dynamic internship experiences. Our department has relationships with a range of organizations where you can sharpen your skills while learning from seasoned professionals in the field.

Entry requirements for New York University
