This concentration addresses the growing need of the forest products industry to hire graduates well-versed in traditional forestry and concurrently having strong business, timber procurement, communication, and analytical skills.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Mississippi State University

Certified, translated copies of all transcripts, mark sheets, and diplomas from your school. Mississippi State recommends all school credentials from non-U.S. institutions be submitted through a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services member (NACES member agency, https://www.naces.org/members) for a course-by-course evaluation with grade point average calculation.

　　An official ACT score of 20 or higher, or SAT score of 1030 (only if your GPA is below 3.0 based on our evaluation of your transcripts OR if you are applying for scholarships).

　　English Proficiency demonstrated through TOEFL or IELTS scores (minimum score for regular admission is 525 paper-based / 71 IBT or 6.0 IELTS)

　　Full admission to Mississippi State University for non-residents of Mississippi will be granted to high school graduates who complete the required high school courses with one of the following

　　A minimum 2.50 grade-point average, composite score of 20 or higher on the ACT, or the equivalent SAT score, or

　　Student-athletes who satisfy the National Collegiate Athletic Association standards and who are full qualifiers or academic redshirts under Division I guidelines are exempt from the above requirement.
