About the course

In the CSSAH Visual Arts unit, there are two offered bachelor's degree programs: The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Fine Arts and The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Fine Arts, as well as a minor program.The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Fine Arts degree allows for more studio work in preparation for professional studio-based careers and graduate school.The Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts requires a foreign language (12 hours) prepares students to pursue advanced degrees in art history and art criticism. The Bachelor of Science degree allows for more studio work to prepare students for professional careers and / or graduate school. All Fine Arts majors are required to have a formal exhibition of creative work in their last semester of residence.
