About the course

The environmental studies and sustainability major prepares students to help communities, organizations and individuals pursue a path of sustainability in areas of food, energy and the environment. Students learn about the interconnectedness of human and natural systems and gain tools necessary to make a positive impact on these systems. Students in this major get a strong natural and social sciences foundation with a focus on agriculture, natural resources and sustainable systems.
