About the course
The Bachelor of Science degree allows students to specialize in either the environmental aspects of physical or biological science. Each of these areas of specialization emphasizes broad and comprehensive training in the fundamentals of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science directly related to environmental questions. This training is for those students who wish to acquire an in-depth understanding of the impact of science and technology on society, and who wish to contribute to the solution of environmental problems. The B.S. in environmental science prepares students for positions in many diverse scientific areas such as environmental monitoring, pollution abatement, environmental technology development, environmental assessment, and consulting. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of North Carolina - Wilmington
An official transcript, translated into English (translation must be certified), of grades from secondary school. Transcripts from schools outside the U.S. must be original or certified true copies, with original signatures on all transcripts and English translations. A minimum 2.5 GPA on a U.S. scale of 4.0 is required, An SAT Reasoning Test critical reading score of 490 or higher, or an ACT minimum score of 20 on the Reading subsection may be submitted. TOEFL - minimum score of 71 on the Internet-based exam. IELTS - minimum score of 6.0 on the academic module.
