About the course

The environmental science program at Drexel University is committed to educating undergraduates for technical careers and graduate study in the diverse areas of environmental science vital to understanding, conservation and restoration of clean and healthy natural environments in the 21st century. The affiliation between the Academy of Natural Science and Drexel University offers students unique opportunities to take a leadership role in ecology, environmental science and environmental policy, and to grow the scope, capacity and reputation of the natural sciences at the University. The philosophy of the Biodiversity, Earth, and Environmental Science Department is ?Experiential Learning Early and Often. Environmental science is a multidisciplinary field designed to examine environmental problems and find solutions. This field requires understanding of a number of disciplines, including biology, physics and chemistry. How to apply

Entry requirements for Drexel University

Drexel takes into consideration a number of criteria when determining admission, including your high school performance and/or college performance, test scores, letters of recommendation, and essay.

　　All applicants must submit a 250- to 650-word essay via the Common Application. We do not accept essays submitted on paper or emailed directly to the University.

　　Official transcripts must be sent directly from your high school to Drexel.

　　Two letters of recommendation are required. At least one must be completed by a high school counselor.

　　Additionally, non-native English speakers must take the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE (Pearsons) and request that results be forwarded to the Admissions Office.
