About the course

Protect, preserve and make a difference. Today?s global environmental problems demand a systems approach, requiring professionals who understand not only the science behind the issues, but also the economic, social and political factors, too. In this program, you will become prepared to meet this demand. You will take a range of courses in the biological, physical and social sciences, and gain the broad interdisciplinary knowledge to tackle the world?s complex environmental issues. As an environmental science major, you will apply your classroom learning to solve local environmental problems, such as salmon recovery and the impacts of forest fires, and gain practical research experience in the lab and field. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Idaho

Undergraduate applicants who have no previous work at the post-secondary level must have at least a 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from a secondary school.

　　Official secondary school transcripts showing subjects, marks received and graduation date. If you have not yet graduated from secondary school, a transcript showing all completed work may be accepted for early admission.

　　TOEFL iBT - 70, TOEFL PBT - 525, IELTS - 6.0

　　SAT critical reading minimum score of 500 (SAT Taken Prior to March 2016)
