About the course
The multidisciplinary Environmental Science program provides a foundation of knowledge and skills for careers in the environmental workforce. Students study biodiversity, climate change, pollution, environmental policy and more. Their research findings are presented at University colloquiums and national conferences. Students see firsthand how their work plays out along an international border in the desert Southwest.The Environmental Science Program offers students an interdisciplinary degree plan in which the student selects a concentration area in Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Geosciences or Environmental Hydrosciences.

How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Texas - El Paso
Official High School or College transcripts must be sent directly from the schools attended in the U.S. or abroad. Foreign transcripts must also be accompanied by a Credential Evaluation by a certified credentialing service. All international students must submit entrance exam scores. Take one of the following exams and request your scores to be sent directly to UTEP from the testing center:
SAT: minimum score of 1070 (reading + math sections) with a score of 480 on the reading section
ACT: minimum composite score of 23 with a score of 19 on the English section
TOEFL: minimum score of 500 on UTEP’s institutional paper based exam or
a minimum score of 61 on the Internet Based TOEFL (IBT)
UTEP does not accept IELTS scores for admission.
