About the course

Computer engineering deals with the research, development, design, operation and application of electronic digital computers and systems. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western Michigan University offers a four-year program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in computer engineering. As a student in this program, you will study the architecture and physical construction, or hardware, of digital computers as well as important programming, or software, aspects of digital computers and systems. Entry requirements for Western Michigan University

Transcripts from all secondary and post-secondary schools attended or are attending, including diplomas, examination results, mark sheets and certificates. International Baccalaureate, grade of 5 in English at the Higher Level. The average WMU freshman has a 3.4 cumulative high school GPA on a 4-point scale with a composite score of 23 on the ACT or an 1090 on the SAT.
