Obtain all of the coursework to pursue a teaching license at the middle or high school level, while earning a comprehensive and marketable degree in atmospheric science. Open the door to a world of career options while helping to improve education in Nevada.Students who complete this NevadaTeach program will earn two degrees: the Bachelor of Science in Education/Secondary Education and the Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science. This program provides students with a foundational background in atmospheric science. Students who successfully complete the program are prepared to teach in secondary education, graduate school, or an immediate career in a STEM field.

How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Nevada

Official high school transcripts showing dates of enrollment, subjects taken in the last three years, grades received, graduation date and/or certificate of graduation and official transcripts from all higher education institutions attended. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institutions attended to the University of Nevada, Reno. TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test).
