Bachelor of Science in Education - Secondary Education (6-12) Chemistry (Martin Campus)

About the course

We offer undergraduate programs in Integrated Studies, Secondary Education, and Special Education. Each of these programs is presented in three dimensions: general education, content education, and professional education. These dimensions will produce professionals who will be effective facilitators of learning.

We are dedicated to providing a variety of opportunities throughout our four year period of study. Each year the professional complexity increases to aid in the development of the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful facilitator of learning in a K-12 classroom. Students who successfully complete any of the undergraduate programs will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Education.Students who plan to teach in grades 6-12 will follow similar programs during the first two years. The electives in all areas should be carefully chosen so that the student can complete professional and subject matter requirements for graduation and licensure in the chosen subject matter teaching fields.
