The special education programs at the University of Central Missouri offer high quality programs at an affordable cost. We develop highly trained professionals who provide specially designed instruction and services to children and youth with special needs. The need for highly qualified special education teachers is increasing as never before. The last two decades has been a period of critical shortage of special education teachers across the United States. Field experiences are embedded into courses from the very beginning to the end of the degree program. Students have multiple field experiences that provide the opportunity to see what it?s like in rural, urban, and suburban school settings when working with the various populations of special needs students. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Central Missouri
All undergraduate students are required to upload unofficial transcripts to their student portal (created upon application submission) and submit official transcripts to our office. These transcripts will be used for advisement purposes. TOEFL exam score of 61 IBT or 500 PBT, IELTS exam score of 5.5.
