About the course
Western Michigan University's community and regional planning major prepares students to become professional planners with particular focus on small cities and their regional communities. As a student in this program, you'll complete 32 credits of core courses in planning theory, history, techniques, methods, ethics, law and administration. You will also complete 25 credits of required courses from cognate social science disciplines and statistics to gain additional knowledge and skills relevant to planning. Entry requirements for Western Michigan University
Transcripts from all secondary and post-secondary schools attended or are attending, including diplomas, examination results, mark sheets and certificates. International Baccalaureate, grade of 5 in English at the Higher Level. The average WMU freshman has a 3.4 cumulative high school GPA on a 4-point scale with a composite score of 23 on the ACT or an 1090 on the SAT. TOEFL Score: 61 iBT, 500 PBT, IELTS Score: 6.0 and above.
