About the course

You like oceanography, coastal sciences AND environmental sciences and want a degree flexible enough to provide multiple career options.The major has a low teacher-student ratio, so small classes are guaranteed. Graduates are prepared for employment and post-graduate study. Those choosing post-graduate study are ready for pre-med, pre-law, pre-dental, pre-vet, pre-Masters of Public Health, and pre-disciplinary graduate study. Those entering the workforce have many career options. If you have a demonstrated strength in science, math, complex problem-solving, and enjoy field work, then this is the degree path for you.

　　Environmental Health: Ideal for anyone interested in pursuing a career in environmental and/or public health sciences as a medical doctor, as a veterinarian, or in the research fields of disasters and environmental exposures to diseases. We also offer a 3 plus 2 fast-track program that cuts a year off the standard six years it takes to earn a bachelor?s in coastal environmental science and a master?s of public health.
