About the course

Chemistry studies the composition of substances, the ways in which their properties are related to their composition, and the interaction of substances to produce new materials. The general purpose of studies in chemistry is to increase our understanding of the structure and behaviour of the matter of our environment. A knowledge of chemistry is important to the solution of problems in important areas of the environment, medicine, and the utilization of resources. How to apply

Entry requirements for Mount Allison University

To be considered for admission, a university-preparatory language arts course and generally a minimum of four additional university-preparatory courses are required. A university-preparatory math (pre-calculus) is required for students applying to the Bachelor of Science program.To be considered for admission, a minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed.Applicants may be considered for early admission based on their final grade 11 transcripts.TOEFL score of 90 (internet test), 580 (paper test), 213 (computer test) (DI Code 0939) with no band score lower than 20. International English Language Testing System – Academic (IELTS) score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6. To be considered 'official,' transcripts must be forwarded directly to Mount Allison's registrar's office by the issuing institution.
