About the course

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship concentration is a 21 credit concentration within the BSBU (120 credits) that will help prepare you for careers where you will be commercializing new ideas into new business ventures and new business lines for existing ventures. In addition to business fundamentals in accounting, economics, marketing, and management, students will learn about New Venture Management and Financing.

　　Students will acquire the skills needed to develop an understanding of the common body of knowledge as defined by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. In addition, students will develop a set of frameworks to analyze, comprehend, and enjoy facts, concepts, and ideas and analytical and critical thinking, decision making, leadership, planning and organization, and problem-solving skills. Entry requirements for New Jersey Institute of Technology

Official High/Secondary School Transcript in English, or Notarized Copy.

　　All students who apply to NJIT must submit an official high school transcript in English. When evaluating your application for undergraduate admission, we are interested in understanding how you challenged yourself relative to the curriculum that was available at your school and the trends in your performance—especially your grades in math, science, and English. Your completed coursework should include English Composition, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Chemistry and Physics. We also consider the GPA that is indicated on your high school transcript. We look for students in the top 25 percent of their class. For schools that don't use a ranking system, we consider a 3.0 GPA or higher to be equivalent.

　　All applicants must take the SAT and/or the ACT, as they provide helpful standardized context for your application as compared to our overall applicant pool. However, be assured that test scores are only one part of our application review.
