About the course

From market research and product design to advertising and sales, marketing is the process of planning and executing the distribution of ideas, goods, and services. In marketing, you will learn to identify, understand and satisfy the needs of consumers and organizations. Our curriculum teaches you to see the big picture of the overall marketing process while you learn about specialized marketing activities such as advertising, product development, and sales. During the capstone marketing course, you will take an in-depth look at buyer behavior and market research as you design a marketing plan to deliver a product or service effectively and efficiently to the target market for a real organization. In addition to core marketing classes, electives allow you to specialize in advertising, entrepreneurial marketing, international marketing, Internet marketing, promotion management or retail marketing. And, if you are interested in sales, you can earn an emphasis in sales management or product innovation ? offering a highly desirable set of skills.

How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Dayton - Shorelight

International students applying for first-year or transfer admission to the University of Dayton must submit the following documents: Application, including the essay. Letter of recommendation. Official secondary transcripts (in language of original issue). Transcripts of all previously attended secondary schools, including dates of attendance, all subjects studied, grades earned and marks achieved on examinations, any transcripts not issued in English should be accompanied by a certified English translation. Proof of completion must also be provided in the form of a graduation date listed on the transcript, a diploma, or a certificate of completion. If secondary schooling is still in progress, this must be submitted as soon as completed and prior to enrollment at the University of Dayton. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (iB) test. International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum Band 6.5 score is required for full admission.
