About the course
A total of 120 units is required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the Marketing, and Retailing Options. The BSBA degree with any of these options requires completion of 45 units in BSBA core courses and 27 units in the option. Consult with an advisor for the specific number of units required in all areas of the degree including GE and free electives. The Marketing Option prepares students for the dynamic world of marketing in the 21st century. Students will learn how to integrate a deep understanding of the external market environment and consumer behavior through emerging market research methods. They will also learn how to create innovative value propositions from a strategic marketing perspective and to communicate effectively with customers using emerging social and marketing communications media. Have a minimum 3.00 GPA in academic courses of the last 3 yearsof high school/secondary education.
All undergraduate applicants whose native language is not English and who have not attended schools at the secondary level or above for at least three years full time where English is the principal language of instruction must present a score of 500 or above on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Minimum Scores for Undergraduate Admissions: Toefl Ibt- 61, IELTS- Band 5.5 or higher, 500paper based Toefl, PTE- 44 or higher.
