About the course

Here, we know that good business does more than make money. It drives innovation. It creates new opportunities. And it even helps solve the world's most pressing problems. As a UD entrepreneurship major, you'll learn to launch and sustain a business. But this program does not simply talk about theory, it involves real decisions and action. During the Sophomore Experience, you will create and run a microbusiness with 5,000 in start-up capital. More than 50,000 in venture capital is provided annually to launch these businesses, and you will receive support from the Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership as you move your business from the red to the black. In your senior seminar, you'll either write a complete business plan for your future company or solve a problem for an existing entrepreneurial business.

How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Dayton - Shorelight

International students applying for first-year or transfer admission to the University of Dayton must submit the following documents: Application, including the essay. Letter of recommendation. Official secondary transcripts (in language of original issue). Transcripts of all previously attended secondary schools, including dates of attendance, all subjects studied, grades earned and marks achieved on examinations, any transcripts not issued in English should be accompanied by a certified English translation. Proof of completion must also be provided in the form of a graduation date listed on the transcript, a diploma, or a certificate of completion. If secondary schooling is still in progress, this must be submitted as soon as completed and prior to enrollment at the University of Dayton. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (iB) test. International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum Band 6.5 score is required for full admission.
