The BGSU applied economics specialization offers Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students an opportunity to design a unique course of study that combines economics with a related discipline.
As well as the core business courses required for the BSBA major, students can select an area of study to combine with economics.
Choose from recommended course combinations in public policy, financial economics, economic forecasting, market forecasting, global studies or politics and political economy.
Other advised combinations are available for people with specific career destinations in mind.

Be a graduate of a senior high school approved or accredited by the department of education of the state in which it is located, OR
Have earned high school equivalency through the General Educational Development (GED) testing program (issued by the state department of education), OR
Present GED test results and ACT or SAT test results, if the student completed secondary education through an alternative program such as home schooling, OR
Present an international baccalaureate diploma or certificate.
Admission is selective. In general, we require a high school record that includes four units each of English and mathematics, three units each of science and social studies, two units of a foreign language, and one unit of visual or performing arts.
An applicant is considered for admission on the basis of four criteria:
