About the course

When you major in applied statistics, you analyze and explore information from different angles, finding the stories hidden in the data. You identify patterns and trends in sets of numbers and draw them out to help people understand the world around them. Medicine, psychology, biology, economics, sports, industry, government?these are just a few of the fields that rely on the analytical skills of statisticians. How to apply

Entry requirements for MacEwan University

Admission requirements include the high school subjects or post-secondary equivalents you need to complete and the minimum grades you need to achieve to be considered for admission into this program. Along with academic criteria, you will need to ensure additional admission criteria are met. IELTS–Academic - Minimum overall band score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 5.5 in each band. Internet-Based Test (IBT) - Minimum total score of 86 and a minimum score of 21 in each section.

　　Applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65 percent, with no course grade lower than 50 percent, in the following high school courses:
