About the course
The agriculture, food and natural resources education program prepares students for a career as a school-based agriculture, food and natural resources teacher or related education positions. Our students combine experience in the classroom and laboratory with real world opportunities ? like professional internships, community engagement projects and education abroad ? to apply what you learn in the classroom to solving real world problems. Students who complete the requirements for this agriculture, food and natural resources education major, the requirements for teacher certification, and a minimum of 4,000 hours of recent and relevant work experience are recommended for a career and technical teaching endorsement in agricultural education.
