About the course

The B.S. in Aeronautical Science degree at the Prescott Campus combines a four-year academic degree with flight training to prepare graduates for a career as a professional pilot. Graduates succeed in airline, corporate, commercial, military, and helicopter operation careers. Thee Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science - Fixed Wing degree is housed in the Department of Aeronautical Science in the College of Aviation. About two-thirds of airline pilots will retire in the coming years, and other areas of the aviation industry ? such as helicopter and airline dispatch ? are undersupplied with qualified applicants. We are training the next generation of aviation professionals at our flight line, located at Prescott Regional Airport. The program also offers options to enhance specific skills and customize your program through advanced flight training, including upset recovery, flight instructor and instrument flight instructor certificates, and familiarization training as a flight crew member in a jet transport aircraft.
