About the course

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) is for students with an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics, computer science or science. At the heart of the programme is the honours dissertation, an independent small-scale research project on a scientific topic. We have strong links with key industry organisations, and many students complete their research project in collaboration with an industry partner. courses in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) focus on the latest developments in applied mathematics, computer science and science.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Auckland University of Technology

Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences or Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with a B grade average or higher in level 7 papers.

　　IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher, or equivalent. TOEFL iBT - 90

　　International Baccalaureate (IB) with successful completion of a minimum of 24 points.

　　General Certificate of Education (GCE) with three A-levels including at least one C grade or better. A result in General Studies cannot be included among the 3 on which the application is based.

　　A minimum of CCC scores (7 points) across the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)

　　Acceptance of the NCUK English for Academic Purposes qualification as an alternative to meeting the English-language requirements, with a minimum of a C grade overall and no less than D grade in each component.
