About the course

At its core, Mathematical statistics deals with models involving a random, unpredictable component. Real-world applications are many and varied, and allow informed decisions to be made in the face of uncertainty. You'll turn numerical data into useful – often gripping – information about anything from the effect of a new cancer drug, to economic performance, to changes in how we partner and reproduce. How to apply

Entry requirements for Monash University

All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered.
