About the course

Bachelor of Psychological Science by completing Honours to enhance essential employability skills or take your first step to a career in research, academia and beyond. You'll gain a deeper understanding of research theory, design and practice principles introduced in your undergraduate degree. You'll study advanced theory in psychology and take part in a tailored psychology research methodology seminar. To apply your research knowledge and skills, you'll undertake an original research project under the supervision of expert staff from La Trobe's School of Psychology and Public Health to produce evidence-based solutions to current issues in psychology.

How to apply

Entry requirements for La Trobe University

Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited three year undergraduate degree in psychology completed within the past ten years with a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 70%.

　　Overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0

　　TOEFL Internet based (iBT): overall score of 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing

　　TOEFL Paper-based Test - Overall score of 550 with 5 or better in Test of Written English (TWE)

　　TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition Accepted [La Trobe will accept this test to meet English requirements as equivalent to the TOEFL iBT test]

　　TOEFL ITP Accepted [La Trobe will accept this test to meet English requirements as equivalent to the TOEFL paper-based test]
