This program gives you the education to take a leadership role in urban management, strategic planning and policy development. If you are interested in a career in urban management and planning, the Bachelor of Planning pathway to the Master of Urban Management and Planning is the program for you. This program gives you the professional and scholarly education to take a leadership role in urban management, strategic planning and policy development.

　　The Bachelor of Planning (Pathway to Master of Urban Management and Planning) degree is a four-year accredited program in urban and regional planning. The Bachelor degree will equip you with the range of specialist and generic skills needed for the workforce or for proceeding to advanced study.

　　The Geography and Urban Studies major and Master of Urban Management and Planning components cover the history, theory and method of geography and planning, as well as preparation for professional practice as a town planner.

　　The program work includes preparation in professional practice, history and the theoretical and legal frameworks for planning. You will develop skills in a range of relevant areas including governance, urban finance and sustainable strategies.
