How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Tasmania (UTAS)

The following course-specific requirements must be met to be eligible to study this degree.

　　To be eligible for an offer, applicants must have studies or experience equivalent to a satisfactory achievement in the following subjects from the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) (or equivalent), or from the University of Tasmania:

　　Mathematics Methods (MTM415117) (TCE), or

　　General Mathematics (MTG315123) (TCE), or

　　Mathematics Specialised (MTS415118) (TCE), or

　　Mathematics Methods Foundation (MTM315117) (TCE), or

　　Applied Mathematics Foundation Unit (KMA002) (UTAS), or

　　Mathematics Foundation Unit (KMA003) (UTAS), or

　　Introduction to University Mathematics (KMA100) (UTAS)

　　AND

　　Satisfactory achievement in one of the following subjects from either the Tasmania Certificate of Education (TCE) (or equivalent), or from UTAS:

　　Chemistry (CHM415115) (TCE), or

　　Introduction to Chemistry (KRA161) (UTAS)

　　TOEFL (iBT) - 72 (no skill below: Reading 10, Listening 9, Speaking 16, Writing 19)

　　IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 (no individual band less than 5.5

　　PTE Academic - 50 with no score lower than 42
