About the course
This one-year full-time or two-year part-time course is offered internally at Hobart and Launceston. Advanced training and consequent in-depth knowledge within a particular discipline covered by natural environment and wilderness studies, Training in research techniques relevant to that discipline to enable either postgraduate research entry or employment in research. Honours graduates are highly competitive for professional careers in their area of specialisation. Employment opportunities also exist in more general areas as detailed under discipline entries in the Handbook. Entry requirements for University of Tasmania (UTAS)
Candidates shall have qualified for admission to the degree of Bachelor of Natural Environment and Wilderness Studies at this University or equivalent qualification at another approved tertiary institution.
