About the course

The undergraduate degree in voice at the UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) offers excellent training with the faculty of one of the premier voice/opera programs in the country. Emphasis is on the development of skills: technical, linguistic, musical and academic. Fundamentals of good vocal technique are instilled through basic art song repertoire. With increased maturity, more demanding repertoire is introduced, including arias from operas and oratorios. Singers must learn to perform in a variety of languages: at least English, Italian, German and French. One year of grammar study is required in each foreign language, as well as additional study of diction. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Cincinnati

Graduation from an accredited high school, generally in the top one-third of the graduating class. An official high school transcript must be submitted. Scores from either Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of the College Entrance Examination Board, or from the American College Testing Program (ACT). All baccalaureate students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 to graduate. Minimum IELTS Scores – 6.0, Minimum TOEFL Scores (iBT) – 79, Minimum TOEFL Score (Pbt)- 550, Computer 213 .
