About the course
The School of Music offers a comprehensive degree program in Piano Pedagogy to prepare students to teach piano to a wide variety of levels in diverse settings or to continue further study at the graduate level. The Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy maintains a strong performance curriculum in addition to the core music curriculum (music theory, aural theory, music history), liberal arts coursework, and eight semesters of work in piano pedagogy. Entry requirements for University of North Florida
Admissions decisions at UNF are rendered based on academic merit. The state of Florida has implemented minimum admission standards for freshman applicants to all Florida public state universities. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum 2.5 recalculated GPA on a 4.0 scale and meet minimum test score requirements.
Regardless of when they graduated from high school, students applying as first-time-in-college (FTIC) applicants are required to submit either SAT, ACT and/or CLT test scores. UNF does not require the essay section of the SAT or ACT.
