About the course

The program prepares the student academically and musically for a performance degree specializing in the technique and performance of the euphonium. Brass graduates from the UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) may find employment in orchestras and other ensembles, or continue graduate study here or at other major schools throughout the country. Continued in-depth study and coaching with faculty can lead to the beginning of a professional career. Advanced degrees can also lead to faculty teaching positions at the college level. Paralleling and supporting CCM?s excellent performance program, the Music Education Division has a national reputation in the area of teacher preparation, with 100 percent placement each year. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Cincinnati

Graduation from an accredited high school, generally in the top one-third of the graduating class. An official high school transcript must be submitted. Scores from either Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of the College Entrance Examination Board, or from the American College Testing Program (ACT). All baccalaureate students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 to graduate. Minimum IELTS Scores – 6.0, Minimum TOEFL Scores (iBT) – 66, Minimum TOEFL Score (Pbt)- 515.
