Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology

About the course

This course requires successful completion of 240 credit points which includes twelve core subjects, and eight elective subjects which can be chosen from any discipline available at Sydney City Campus.

Students undertaking a major (Networking and Cloud Computing or Software Development) need to complete the specific major subjects in place of some elective subjects.

The Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is a professional course that will provide you with solid skills and a knowledge base in ICT.

It will provide you with the skills to apply practical solutions to ICT including systems analysis and design, application development, program design, networks, web development and the implementation of technology.

At Sydney City Campus, you can complete your three-year bachelor’s degree in as little as two years and enter the workforce sooner. A bachelor’s degree usually consists of 24 subjects. With our flexible academic calendar, you can study 12 subjects in one year over three trimesters. However, we recommend that you undertake a maximum of 3 subjects per trimester so that your study load is not too demanding. You will have less downtime between trimesters so a lighter study load will help you to have a better chance at passing all of your subjects. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
