The School of Illustration's BFA program embraces the art of visual and conceptual storytelling in any medium. Students develop the skills necessary to transform themselves into skilled, distinctive, professional illustrators able meet the marketplace?s growing need for artists trained in visual problem solving in both traditional and digital media. How to apply

Entry requirements for Academy of Art University

Official high school transcripts and diploma. College transcripts (if applicable) must show the classes/subject, grades, credits, and number of hours completed for each class. You may submit your application for admission before taking the test. More information is available online for TOEFL and for IELTS. While we do not require these scores and do not have a minimum score requirement, you will be evaluated for English language proficiency upon arrival at Academy of Art University.
