About the course

Students in the sculpture concentration engage the physical world through a broad range of making strategies with a focus on conceptual intent and material exploration. Students develop a strong knowledge of fabrication processes in both traditional and nontraditional media and investigate contemporary concepts in the field through installation, performance, interdisciplinary processes, and emerging forms.
