About the course

Courses in ceramics focuses primarily on sculptural form, with some attention given to the techniques related to functional pottery. Ceramics students are expected to learn the basics of clay construction, glazing, and firing, but the ultimate aim is to use ceramics media in an expressive way to communicate ideas. The ceramics facility is extensive and well equipped with rooms for forming and glazing, pottery wheels, and an impressive number of gas and electric kilns. How to apply

Entry requirements for Washington State University

To be considered for admission to Washington State University as a freshman, a student needs to complete at least 12 years of school, culminating in an appropriate secondary certificate or external examination. (We may consider the first year or two of university in some countries to be secondary level.)

　　Schooling should include preparation in humanities, mathematics, basic sciences, and social sciences.
